In 2014, Boipelo worked as a summer intern at Symbion Power in Washington D.C, U.S.A, where she collaborated on promoting the company’s offerings to local governments in Africa by developing bidding material for regional power generation plants, contributing to the establishment of over 1,057MW of generating capacity in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Nigeria.

Boipelo completed her pupillage in 2024 at Group 621 under the mentorship of Lawrence Schäfer. She is a mentee in the 2025 CDH inaugural junior advocates’ mentorship programme as well as in the 2024/2025 Young AFSA Mentorship Programme.
