Courtenay joined the Bar in 2005. She holds an LLB degree from the University of the Stellenbosch and obtained an LLM (Commercial Law) with distinction from the University of South Africa. She was formerly admitted as an attorney.
She has a commercial practice particularly in the fields of company law, insolvency law, law of contract, unlawful competition, intellectual property and banking.
