Educated at Glenwood, Howard College (UKZN), and Lady Margaret Hall (Oxford) (on a Rhodes Scholarship), Kameel was called to the Bar in 2016. He is briefed as leading and co-counsel in all Courts of South Africa, and increasingly within SADC, mostly in high-level public and commercial law disputes. Occasionally, he dabbles in criminal, family, and competition law. Kameel also appears in arbitrations, and regularly undertakes pro bono/public interest work. He has a background in politics and public policy.
