Ziyaad Navsa

Ziyaad holds an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree having majored in Political Studies and Law and a postgraduate LLB degree both obtained from the University of Cape Town in 2005 and 2007 respectively.

Prior to being called to the Bar in 2014, Ziyaad was an attorney at Cheadle, Thompson & Haysom Inc.

Ziyaad has particular experience and interest in labour law and administrative law, and has represented and advised local and multi-national corporations, public sector entities and  trade unions.

His areas of interest also include general commercial litigation, constitutional law, public law, competition law, and media & defamation. 

Ziyaad has contributed to a number of international publications including the European Intellectual Property Review
