Robin Lewis

Robin Lewis was called to the Bar in 2025.

Robin obtained his Law Degree from the University of the Western Cape in 2011. He completed a course in Forensic and Investigative Auditing through the University of South Africa in 2017. Robin obtained accreditation as a Certified Fraud Examiner with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in 2018 and is a former member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

He previously practiced as a State Advocate at the National Prosecuting Authority and litigated an array of appeals, extraditions and complex trials.

Robin has received various awards during his career, most notably an Award of Appreciation by the United States of America Secret Service in 2022 as recognition for his assistance and legal advice in relation to a high-profile extradition request.

Since commencing pupillage, Robin has been involved in the following reported matters:

· Globustarr Trading Co LLC v Mayana Properties (Pty) Ltd 2025 (4) SA 594 (GJ) with LM Spiller.

His practice at the Bar encompasses all aspects of litigation and advocacy, with exposure to a diverse range of matters and legal disciplines.
