Adrian Botha was called to the Bar in 1999. 

He completed his BCom (Law) (Accounting, Economics and Law) at the University of Pretoria. Whilst working in the accounting field for two years Adrian completed his LLB through UNISA before joining the Bar.

Adrian has a commercial law practice.  He has acquired experience in the following fields in particular: banking law, insolvency, business rescue, company law, shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, building and construction disputes, labour law, restraints of trade, unlawful competition, competition law, copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property matters, medical and pharmaceutical related matters, administrative law and mining law.

Adrian has appeared in numerous courts of first instance and appeal, tribunals and other forums such as arbitrations, for the most part, on behalf of corporate entities and banks. He has represented all of the major banks and several listed companies, including multinationals. He also acts on behalf of numerous individuals, both wealthy and indigent.

Adrian has been a member of the bar finance sub-committee for several years.  He is involved in various social upliftment, mission and aid projects. He is also a member of the Federal Management Committee of the Christian Democratic Party and a keen sportsman.
