Asanda Dipa

 Asanda joined the Johannesburg Society of Advocates (“the Bar”) in 2015. Prior to joining the Bar, she was a prosecutor for the National Prosecuting Authority in the District and Regional Magistrates Court, where she was exposed to different disciplines of law including commercial crimes investigations and forensic investigations.

Asanda completed her LLB and LLM (Criminal Justice) at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. Asanda further read for an LLM (Extractive Industries Law in Africa) and a postgraduate certificate (Advanced Construction Contracts) at the University of Pretoria. Asanda is a trained and accredited Mediator with Conflict Dynamics.

Asanda’s areas of practice are Construction, Energy (with focus in Renewable Energy), Mining, Oil and Gas, Environmental and Administrative law, Contractual Disputes and Commercial Litigation and Arbitration.
