Busani runs a general practice, with her preferred areas being mining law, environmental law, public law, administrative law and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining the bar, Busani was an admitted attorney for 7 years. Having completed her articles at ENS Africa, she practiced as an attorney at the same firm, whereafter she worked as in-house counsel in the private sector.
