Grant joined the bar in 2018. He holds BCom and LLB degrees from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg. He was formerly a director in the Dispute Resolution department of ENSafrica for approximately 8 years.

Grant has appeared in a number of courts, arbitrations and tribunals, including in relation to the Dispute Settlement System of the World Trade Organisation, in Geneva. He has acted on behalf of and advised the South African government in various trade disputes and regularly advises a number of multinational and bluechip companies, both domestically and internationally.

He is a general commercial litigator with particular experience and interest in international trade law and international arbitration.
