Marc’s practice is in commercial litigation and arbitration with a particular focus on company law, insolvency and business rescue, contractual disputes, baking law and the civil recovery of bank related fraud.

In addition to appearing in the High Court and Supreme Court of Appeal, Marc is regularly appointed as an arbitrator for both local and international disputes.

Marc holds the degrees of:

• BCom (University of the Witwatersrand);
• LLB (cum laude) (University of the Witwatersrand);
• LLM (Company & Contract Law) (cum laude) (University of the Witwatersrand) – for which Marc was awarded the Adrian Paul Nathan Prize for the most distinguished LLM graduate.
• LLM (Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution) (University College London).

Marc is a Fellow of the Association of Arbitrators, South Africa, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London and a panel member of the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa.
