Michael Dafel

Michael runs a general practice. His preferred areas of practice include constitutional law, commercial litigation, and administrative reviews.
Michael completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge and an LLM at New York University. He also holds LLB and BCom degrees from the University of Pretoria
(both of which were awarded with distinction). Before joining the Bar, Michael clerked at the Constitutional Court of South Africa for Chief Justice Mogoeng, interned at an inter-government organisation, and worked at the University of Johannesburg. He has published in leading academic journals,including the South African Law Journal and the South African Journal on Human
Rights.
