 Rafik specializes in a full range of commercial litigation with an emphasis on contractual disputes, competition law and taxation. He is briefed in many complex and landmark matters, both in competition and taxation litigation.

He is a Fulbright Scholar, having been awarded a scholarship to the Berkley University.

He has appeared in a large number of reported decisions covering the breadth of commercial matters.

He is often briefed to appear in high profile matters in Namibia and Botswana. He has acted as a Judge of the High Court and also acts as an Arbitrator.
