Tibane holds the LLB and LLM degrees. He further holds a Post-Graduate Diploma from Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa and has further completed the Registered Persons Exams
in the Equity Market from the South African Institute of Financial Markets and a Postgraduate qualification in International Management from the University of London.
Prior to joining the Bar in 2019, Tibane worked at various corporates within the Financial Services industry including the Barclays Africa Group as Vice President, as a Manager at Deloitte &
Touche, Liberty Group as a Legal Specialist and at an asset manager. 

In 2014 Tibane was selected for participation in the International Lawyers for Africa (ILFA) programme as South Africa’s only candidate and one of 21 candidates from the African continent.
As part of the programme he spent time in London as an Associate in the Banking and Finance division of the global law firm Fasken Martineau during which time not only was he exposed to the
practices of a global law firm but he also attended workshops at some of London’s “magic circle” law firms. He further attended lectures at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
