Tizi is an experienced commercial and finance lawyer. Prior to being called to the Bar, she was an associate at Bowman Gilfillan and worked in-house at Absa Bank Limited and KPMG. Her experience varies from tax structuring and mergers and acquisitions to project infrastructure and leveraged finance. She also worked as a researcher, in 2019, in the International Development Law Unit at the University of Pretoria under Professor Daniel Bradlow with a focus on Finance and Human Rights. Tizi holds an LLB degree from Wits University and an LLM in International Trade and Investment in Africa (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria.
