On 18 February 2026, Group One hosted the third installment of the Group One Jules Browde annual public lecture, delivered by the Auditor-General of South Africa, Ms Tsakani Maluleke, the first woman to be appointed to this role in over 100 years.
The flagship lecture was held in The Bailey on “Justice and accountability”, a subject that resonated with our distinguished guests Acting Chief Justice Mlambo, Acting Judge President Ledwaba, Acting Deputy Judge President Mudau, retired Deputy Judge President Sutherland and Justices Fisher and Mohamed, the Chairperson of the Bar Council Mahon SC and some of the finest attorneys in Sandton and our group members.
